Payments-MilanMinerals processes our payments through Paypal. When checking out choose the credit card you intend to use for payment and you will be directed to Paypal. You do NOT need to sign up for a Paypal account in order to complete your payment. If you all ready have a Paypal account and want to use funds in your account,simply click on a credit card name. You will be directed to Paypal and can then securely log into your account.
Sale Items- MilanMinerals will place a small # of products on our front page each week. Other items may also be on sale! When browsing our shades you will know if additional items are on sale if you see this:

0 - Represents the percentage off. So if you see a 25 there it means the item is 25% off
The top date represents the sale start date,the bottom date represents the sale end date.
All sales apply to the posted time frames only.No exceptions.Sales time frames are for PST time zone only.No exceptions.MilanMinerals will not issue credits on items purchased before or after our posted sale dates and times.
Example-You purchase a product at regular price and next week the same item goes on sale.
Example-At 9:30pm you purchase a mineral pigment.At 12am the next day the same pigment goes on sale.

Sample only orders ship free worldwide. We highly suggest you sample prior to purchasing full sized items. Due to the nature of the products we sell,MilanMinerals does not take returns or make exchanges.Sample orders $15.00 or more will be shipped with Delivery Confirmation.
Once you place a full size item in your basket shipping will apply.
Sample Quantity Limit?- Only 2 samples per shade,per order will be sold. Why? Samples are just that.Samples. We provide samples to our customers simply because we are an online company and know customers want to really see how a shade looks and works with their skintone in person. They are not meant to be a substitute for buying a full size product.While there are many companies that base their business on selling samples, we are not one of them. MilanMinerals offers our customers different sizes to fit every budget. We also have different products on sale weekly and hold sales often! Sign up for our newsletter to be notified of sales!
MilanMinerals ships orders First Class or Priority mail via the USPS at our discretion not customer request.Orders ship within 2-3 business days. MilanMinerals does not ship during nationally recognized holidays or weekends.
Order Processing Times- If your order is received by 5pm PST, your order will begin processing that day. Orders received after 5pm PST begin counting your 2-3 day order processing time the next day.During special sale times our order processing time will be extended to 5 business days.
There is $5.00 min. order.
All domestic orders ship with delivery confirmation.Sample orders $15.00 or more will be shipped with delivery confirmation as well.
All international orders $15.00 or more have a certificate of mailing purchased for each order.
Domestic- $5.00 First class or Priority mail at MilanMineral Cosmetics discretion.
International- Orders $5- 40.00 ship First Class International mail for $8.00. Orders $40 and up ship Priority International mail for $12.95. If your order is less than $40 yet you would prefer Priority mail, after completing your order send the difference($4.95) to candace@milanminerals.com via Paypal.
Canadian orders -$5-40.00 ship First Class International mail for $7.00. Orders $40 and up ship Priority International mail for $10.95. If your order is less than $40 yet you would prefer Priority mail,after completing your order send the difference($3.95) to candace@milanminerals.com via Paypal.
Express Shipping-Please note choosing Express Shipping does not mean your order will ship ahead of others.MilanMinerals fill all orders according to when they were received. Express Shipping simply means that when your order has processed it should arrive within 1-2 days.Express deliveries are made 7 days a week.

Insurance may be purchased on your behalf at YOUR request. Simply add the level of insurance you would like to your shopping cart.Extra shipping options may be found here.(Domestics orders)
All full size orders with the exception of International orders are sent with Delivery Confirmation. Once your order is shown as delivered via the USPS website MilanMinerals will not resend a package.Delivery Confirmation does not track your package the entire trip! Your package will only be scanned when it is delivered to it's final destination.Please know what type of carrier you have. Some carriers will leave these items at your door if you are unavailable.If your order shows delivered but you did not receive it,please contact your local post office. Should your order show not delivered after 14 business days, MilanMinerals will resend your order if your order shows up as not delivered in the USPS system.
International orders do not ship with any type of delivery confirmation. MilanMinerals will only replace lost orders that were sent Registered Mail. There is an additional $11.50 charge for this service.MilanMinerals does purchase a Certificate of Mailing on behalf of our International customers on orders $15.00 or more . This is our proof that an order with your name and the address you provided for us was placed in the hands of an USPS agents hand.
Also at customer request, insurance may be purchased.Please read the information provided for you here in regards to insuring international orders. Some countries do not allow items to be insured. Please contact us at admin@milanminerals.com if you would like this added service.You will be invoiced for payment.Should you need us to contact the USPS on our end to retrieve your original customs form we filled out on your behalf.Please contact us within 30 days to do so. The USPS only keeps these forms 30 days.Afterwards the USPS disposes of these forms. At any time you may request a scan or jpg. of the Certificate of Mailing MilanMinerals purchases for qualifying international orders($15.00 or more).Please send your order# and request to admin@milanminerals.comand we will provide it for you to view within 2 business days.
MilanMinerals is not responsible for any customs fees you may incur.MilanMinerals will also not mark any order as a "gift" on customs forms.This is illegal.Thanks in advance for not asking.
Order Tracking-After your order has shipped you may log into your account at anytime to retrieve any order specific information.MilanMinerals will update the status of your order every step of the way.You may also view your past MilanMineral orders.Should you delete the email we send you once your order ships you may always find this information in your personal MilanMinerals account.
Newsletters-MilanMinerals utilizes two email lists,one is internal which we use for quick announcements and the other is outsourced and used to introduce new collections,products and more in depth information.BOTH are permission based. Should you sign up for one you will automatically be added to the other since they are both being sent for and on the behalf of MilanMinerals.Should you decide to unsubscribe to one,you will be unsubscribed from both.We only want to send our newsletters and sale announcements to those that want to receive them.
That being said,MilanMinerals will periodically review our email management system and purge our list of subscribers who do not open our emails anyway.Subscribers will not be notified prior.As stated above we only want to send newsletters and announcements to interested parties.
Reward Points- Each purchase you make with MilanMinerals earns you 5% back (minus shipping). These points will be made available to you after your order is completed.Customers must have at least $5.00 to begin applying points to purchases. You may apply these points to your next purchase or save them for use another time.Also in regards to Reward Points please note:
1)Rewards Points are non transferable and can not be redeemed for cash.Should you decide to close your MilanMinerals account,if you would like to have them please utilize them prior to closing your account.
2)Points will only be issued from orders placed on the MilanMinerals website.Should you do a combined order with a friend,points will only be issued to the customer who actually placed the order.
3)Gift Certificates may not be purchased with Reward Points.
4)Reward Points can not be applied to past orders.Each time you check out your Reward Points will be offered to you.Apply them at that time.
5)MilanMinerals reserves the right to terminate the Rewards Points program at any time without prior notice.Even though we reserve this right,MilanMinerals will make attempts to notify customers prior. MilanMinerals will contact customers via these methods only: Information will be posted on our website and our company newsletter ONLY.We will not send individual emails to customers or make phone calls.(Please sign up for our newsletter announcements!)
******Update Rewards Points****
We're noticing a trend here at MilanMinerals and we're going to address it in the form of a company policy that will be firm.Thanks in advance for not asking.
Please try to only create one user account. Especially if you intend to use your Reward Points. Now there really isn't an issue with creating more than one account if you think you've forgotten your information. The problem lies in the fact that each account accrues it's own Reward Points! So if you have 3 accounts you have 3 sets of Reward Points you may want to use. Sorry but we will NOT search our account database at customer request combining your points together in order for you to use them for a single purchase.It's time consuming and avoidable.Should this be your situation,log into the account you'd like to use and apply the Reward Points you have available in that account. If you have shopped with us before and have forgetten your information,please click the Your Account link.Once on the account page,click the link that says Modify Account.You may then click on the "Forgot" link to have your account information emailed to you. If you have any problem with that process,please email us and we're more than happy to assist you further.Also while logged into your account please update your email address,and create a password familiar to you.These are common reasons customers create more than one account.
Charge My Account- MilanMinerals has the abilty to extend credit to our customers for various reasons determined by us. You may only use the credit that has been extended to you. You may only use what you have available.Reward Points will not be issued on items purchased using MilanMineral credit.
Example: You have $20 available credit. Your shopping cart contains items valued at $25. Your total order including shipping needs to be under your credit amount.If you are unable to get your order under your credit amount, please choose another payment method. Your credit will not expire and can be used another time.
Photos and Descriptions-MilanMinerals makes every attempt to acurately describe and show the colors of our mineral pigments. Descriptions are subjective and our view of a shade may be different that your interpretation of the same shade. Different monitors display shades differently and quite frankly it is hard to always capture the beauty of mineral pigments with a picture.We encourage customers to sample shades prior to investing in full size purchases OR try a mini 3gram size!
MilanMinerals also reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason we deem valid.MilanMinerals will issue a refund within 24hrs for any order we will not be proccessing.
Backorders-Should there ever be an instance that MilanMinerals has a product out of stock,MilanMinerals will present you with these option:
1)Refund for the product price
2) MilanMinerals will ship the remainder of your order and ship the out of stock item when it is in stock.
"You Name It" Items- These items are listed on occasion. Please check these shades at the start of the week(Sunday/Monday) if you are interested in ordering any of these shades. Once they are listed as out of stock on the website the quantites will not be replenished.New shades will be listed the following week."You Name It" Items are not always available on the website.
MilanMinerals reserves the right to change any terms without prior notice.Please stop by and read these terms periodically to check for any changes.
The information we provide you here on our website seems like a lot,but we attempt to address certain issues so that you always know what to expect from us.MilanMinerals has been fortunate enough to have had very limited incidents of lost or damaged packages and we attribute this to offering our customers numerous ordering/shipping options and having clear guidelines to all of our policies.We appreciate you taking the time to become familiar with our policies.
